Responsibilities
- Manage daily financial operations and ensure the accuracy of all bookkeeping records.
- Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements for internal review.
- Assist in the preparation of federal and state tax filings to ensure full compliance.
- Perform bank reconciliations, expense audits, and general ledger maintenance.
- Collaborate with the finance team to streamline accounting processes and improve operational efficiency.
- Prepare payroll reports and assist with accounts payable and receivable functions.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (CPA or ACCA certification is a plus).
- 3+ years of professional accounting experience in a corporate or public accounting environment.
- Proficiency in accounting software (QuickBooks, Xero, or Sage) and advanced MS Excel skills.
- Strong understanding of GAAP and current tax regulations.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to work independently in a remote setting.
