Responsibilities
- Manage full-cycle accounting operations including month-end close, reconciliations, and financial reporting
- Prepare and analyze P&L statements, balance sheets, and cash flow projections
- Oversee accounts payable/receivable processes with 99.8% accuracy
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on budgeting and forecasting initiatives
- Ensure compliance with GAAP, SOX, and industry-specific regulations
- Implement process improvements using QuickBooks Online and advanced Excel modeling
- Lead quarterly audits and tax preparation activities
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting/Finance (CPA/MBA preferred)
- 5+ years of progressive accounting experience in remote settings
- Expert proficiency in QuickBooks, NetSuite, and ERP systems
- Advanced Excel skills (VLOOKUP, pivot tables, macros)
- Proven track record of meeting tight deadlines in fast-paced environments
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail
- Experience with multi-state tax compliance
