Responsibilities
- Process multi-state payroll accurately and on schedule for 200+ employees
- Manage garnishments, deductions, and tax filings in compliance with federal/state regulations
- Reconcile payroll accounts and resolve discrepancies with precision
- Administer benefits enrollment and maintain employee records in HRIS systems
- Collaborate with HR and finance teams during audits and system implementations
- Prepare payroll reports for leadership and external stakeholders
- Stay updated on FLSA, ACA, and local labor law changes
Qualifications
- 3+ years of hands-on payroll processing experience
- Proficiency with ADP Workforce Now or similar payroll platforms
- Deep understanding of multi-state tax laws and compliance requirements
- Expertise in Excel with advanced formula knowledge (VLOOKUP, PivotTables)
- PHR or CPP certification preferred
- Proven ability to handle confidential data with discretion
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
