Responsibilities
- Manage full-cycle accounting processes including accounts payable/receivable, general ledger maintenance, and month-end closings
- Prepare and analyze financial statements ensuring GAAP compliance and regulatory adherence
- Process payroll with daily pay functionality for immediate employee compensation
- Conduct financial audits and reconciliations to ensure data accuracy and integrity
- Develop and implement financial controls to mitigate risk and optimize operational efficiency
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support budgeting and forecasting initiatives
- Utilize accounting software (QuickBooks/NetSuite) for transaction processing and reporting
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field required
- 3+ years of progressive accounting experience with full-cycle responsibilities
- CPA certification or active pursuit strongly preferred
- Proficiency in QuickBooks, MS Excel (advanced functions), and ERP systems
- Demonstrated experience with daily pay processing or alternative compensation models
- Exceptional analytical skills with attention to detail and numerical accuracy
