Responsibilities
- Process semi-monthly payroll for salaried and hourly employees using ADP Workforce Now
- Manage garnishments, deductions, and benefit deductions with 100% accuracy
- Ensure compliance with federal/state tax laws (e.g., Form 941, W-2 filings)
- Resolve payroll discrepancies and employee inquiries within 24 hours
- Reconcile payroll accounts and prepare monthly/year-end reports
- Collaborate with HR on new hire onboarding and terminations
- Implement process improvements to enhance payroll efficiency
Qualifications
- 3+ years of payroll processing experience with multi-state operations
- ADP certification strongly preferred (or equivalent SaaS payroll system)
- Expert knowledge of FLSA, FICA, and state-specific payroll regulations
- Advanced Excel skills (VLOOKUP, PivotTables, macros)
- Proven track record of zero-error payroll cycles
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- Ability to work under tight deadlines with minimal supervision
