Responsibilities
- Process and distribute accurate payroll for 500+ employees across multiple states
- Manage time and attendance systems, resolving discrepancies promptly
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local payroll regulations
- Administer employee benefits deductions and retirement contributions
- Prepare and file quarterly payroll tax returns and year-end forms (W-2/1099)
- Collaborate with HR and finance teams on payroll-related matters
- Maintain confidential payroll records and implement security protocols
Qualifications
- 3+ years of hands-on payroll processing experience
- Proficiency with ADP Workforce Now or similar payroll systems
- Certified Payroll Professional (CPP) or Payroll Compliance Practitioner (PCP) preferred
- Strong knowledge of multi-state tax laws and FLSA regulations
- Advanced Excel skills with VLOOKUP and pivot table experience
- Exceptional attention to detail and problem-solving abilities
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
