Responsibilities
- Process bi-weekly payroll for 200+ employees using ADP and QuickBooks
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local payroll regulations
- Manage garnishments, deductions, and tax filings accurately
- Resolve payroll discrepancies and respond to employee inquiries promptly
- Generate payroll reports and analyze payroll data for budgeting
- Collaborate with HR and accounting on compensation structures
- Audit payroll processes monthly to ensure accuracy
Qualifications
- 3+ years of payroll processing experience
- Proficiency in ADP Workforce Now or similar payroll software
- CPP (Certified Payroll Professional) certification preferred
- Strong knowledge of FLSA, Louisiana state labor laws
- Advanced Excel skills with pivot tables and VLOOKUPs
- Exceptional attention to detail and problem-solving abilities
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive data
