Responsibilities
- Process bi-weekly payroll for 200+ employees using ADP Workforce Now
- Verify and reconcile timekeeping data with attendance systems
- Manage garnishments, deductions, and tax filings accurately
- Maintain confidential employee payroll records in compliance with FLSA
- Respond to payroll inquiries and resolve discrepancies promptly
- Prepare payroll reports for executive and audit purposes
- Collaborate with HR on new hire onboarding and terminations
- Stay updated on Arizona labor laws and payroll regulations
Qualifications
- 3+ years of payroll processing experience in Arizona
- Proficiency with ADP or major payroll systems
- Deep understanding of FLSA, AZ labor laws, and tax compliance
- Associate's degree in Accounting/Business or equivalent experience
- Advanced Excel skills with VLOOKUP and pivot tables
- PHR or CPP certification preferred
- Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy (99.9% error rate)
- Ability to handle sensitive information with absolute discretion
