Responsibilities
- Process bi-weekly payroll for 200+ employees across multiple states
- Calculate and garnish wages, deductions, and tax withholdings
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local labor regulations
- Generate payroll reports and maintain digital payroll records
- Reconcile payroll accounts and resolve discrepancies
- Onboard new employees and update payroll documentation
- Collaborate with HR and accounting teams on payroll-related matters
Qualifications
- 3+ years of hands-on payroll processing experience
- Proficiency in ADP Workforce Now or similar payroll software
- Expert knowledge of FLSA, multi-state tax laws, and garnishment rules
- Advanced Excel skills with VLOOKUP, pivot tables, and macros
- Associate’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- PHR or CPP certification preferred
- Proven ability to meet tight deadlines under pressure
- Exceptional attention to detail and numerical accuracy
