Responsibilities
- Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts for 15+ diverse clients
- Prepare month-end and year-end financial statements with detailed analysis
- Manage accounts payable/receivable and bank reconciliations
- Oversee payroll processing and tax compliance for multiple entities
- Implement and improve accounting systems and internal controls
- Collaborate with CPAs during audit processes
- Generate customized financial reports for client stakeholders
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance (required)
- 5+ years of full-cycle bookkeeping experience
- Advanced proficiency in QuickBooks Online and Excel
- Certified Bookkeeper (CB) or QuickBooks ProAdvisor preferred
- Expert knowledge of GAAP and TN tax regulations
- Experience with multi-state payroll processing
- Exceptional attention to detail and problem-solving skills
- Strong written and verbal communication abilities
