Responsibilities
- Manage Accounts Payable & Receivable: Process invoices and ensure timely payments to vendors while monitoring incoming payments.
- Financial Reconciliation: Perform daily reconciliations of bank statements, credit card statements, and general ledger accounts.
- Generate Reports: Create accurate financial reports, including balance sheets and profit & loss statements, for management review.
- Assist with Audits: Provide documentation and support for internal and external financial audits.
- Payroll Support: Assist in the preparation and verification of payroll data for night shift employees.
- Compliance: Ensure all financial activities comply with federal and state regulations.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field required.
- Experience: Minimum of 2 years of experience in general accounting, preferably in a night shift environment.
- Certifications: CPA or CMA certification is a plus.
- Software Skills: Proficiency in QuickBooks, Excel (advanced functions), and NetSuite.
- Availability: Must be willing to work the Night Shift (e.g., 10:00 PM - 6:00 AM or 11:00 PM - 7:00 AM).
- Attention to Detail: Strong analytical skills and the ability to detect discrepancies in financial data.
