Responsibilities
- Manage daily accounting operations, including accounts payable and accounts receivable processing.
- Prepare and analyze monthly financial statements, including balance sheets and profit and loss reports.
- Assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual tax filings.
- Reconcile bank statements and general ledger accounts to ensure data accuracy.
- Perform internal audits and assist external auditors during the review process.
- Maintain accurate financial documentation and ensure organized filing systems.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance required.
- CPA certification is a plus but not mandatory.
- 3+ years of progressive experience in general accounting or finance.
- Proficiency in accounting software (QuickBooks, Sage, or Xero) and MS Excel (Advanced).
- Strong analytical skills with a high attention to detail.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
