Responsibilities
- Manage and maintain accurate financial records, including general ledger accounts and subsidiary ledgers
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with GAAP
- Conduct comprehensive account reconciliations for bank accounts, credit cards, and other financial instruments
- Assist in tax preparation and ensure compliance with federal, state, and local tax regulations
- Analyze financial data to identify trends, variances, and opportunities for process improvement
- Support budgeting and forecasting processes through accurate financial modeling
- Implement and maintain internal controls to safeguard company assets
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA/MBA preferred)
- Minimum 3 years of progressive accounting experience in a corporate setting
- Proficiency in QuickBooks, Excel, and accounting software systems
- Strong knowledge of GAAP, tax regulations, and financial reporting standards
- Exceptional analytical skills with attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment with competing priorities
