Responsibilities
- Analyze financial statements, credit reports, and market data to assess borrower creditworthiness
- Prepare detailed credit memos and risk assessments for commercial and consumer loans
- Monitor existing portfolios for compliance with credit policies and regulatory requirements
- Collaborate with lending teams to structure optimal credit solutions
- Identify trends in default rates and recommend risk mitigation strategies
- Utilize financial modeling tools to forecast payment performance scenarios
- Maintain accurate documentation in compliance with industry standards
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field
- 3+ years of credit analysis experience in banking or financial services
- Advanced proficiency in Excel and financial modeling software
- Strong understanding of FICO scoring and credit risk frameworks
- Excellent analytical skills with attention to detail
- Effective communication skills for presenting complex financial data
- Series 63/66 or equivalent securities license preferred
- Experience with loan origination systems (e.g., Ellie Mae, Black Knight)
