Responsibilities:
- Manage daily bookkeeping operations, including accounts payable and accounts receivable.
- Reconcile bank statements, credit card accounts, and general ledger accounts on a monthly basis.
- Process payroll accurately and efficiently using [Software Name, e.g., QuickBooks Online].
- Prepare and send invoices to clients and ensure timely payment collection.
- Assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
- Maintain and update the fixed asset register and expense reports.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED; Associate’s degree in Accounting or Finance preferred.
- Proven experience as a Bookkeeper or in a similar accounting role (2+ years preferred).
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Xero, Sage) and Microsoft Excel.
- Strong understanding of GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles).
- Excellent attention to detail and the ability to spot discrepancies in financial data.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work independently.
