Responsibilities
- Maintain accurate general ledgers, accounts payable/receivable, and bank reconciliations
- Process payroll and ensure timely tax filings (quarterly/annually)
- Prepare financial statements and month-end closing reports
- Manage client communication regarding financial discrepancies and inquiries
- Implement internal controls to prevent financial errors and fraud
- Assist with audits and provide supporting documentation as needed
- Utilize QuickBooks and Excel for data entry and analysis
Qualifications
- 3+ years of hands-on bookkeeping experience with QuickBooks Pro
- Associate's degree in Accounting or equivalent certification (e.g., CB)
- Proficiency in MS Excel (VLOOKUP, pivot tables, advanced formulas)
- Familiarity with AZ state tax regulations and payroll compliance
- Proven track record of meeting tight deadlines in high-volume environments
- Exceptional attention to detail and problem-solving skills
- Ability to handle sensitive financial data with confidentiality
- U.S. work authorization and reliable transportation to Mesa office
