Responsibilities
- Maintain accurate general ledgers, accounts payable/receivable, and bank reconciliations
- Prepare monthly financial statements and variance analysis for client portfolios
- Process payroll and ensure compliance with federal/state tax regulations
- Implement and optimize accounting software systems (QuickBooks, Xero)
- Conduct internal audits and support external financial reviews
- Assist with budget forecasting and cash flow management
- Collaborate with senior accountants on tax preparation and financial strategy
Qualifications
- 5+ years of professional bookkeeping experience with QuickBooks proficiency
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- Certified Bookkeeper (CB) or QuickBooks ProAdvisor certification preferred
- Advanced knowledge of GAAP and IRS tax regulations
- Expert-level Excel skills with pivot tables and VLOOKUP functions
- Proven track record of multi-client portfolio management
- Exceptional attention to detail with zero-error financial reporting
- Ability to meet urgent deadlines while maintaining accuracy
