Responsibilities
- Manage full-cycle bookkeeping including accounts payable/receivable, bank reconciliations, and payroll processing
- Prepare monthly financial statements (P&L, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow) with detailed variance analysis
- Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts ensuring GAAP compliance
- Oversee sales tax filings and ensure regulatory compliance
- Implement and optimize accounting software systems (QuickBooks proficiency required)
- Support annual audits and tax preparation processes
- Develop financial reports and insights to guide strategic business decisions
Qualifications
- Associate's degree in Accounting or Finance required (Bachelor's preferred)
- 3+ years of hands-on bookkeeping experience in a professional setting
- Advanced proficiency in QuickBooks and Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUP)
- Certified Bookkeeper (CB) or QuickBooks ProAdvisor certification a major plus
- Exceptional attention to detail with strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Proven ability to meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent communication skills for client collaboration and financial presentations
