Responsibilities
- Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts with meticulous attention to detail
- Process accounts payable/receivable and manage cash flow operations
- Prepare financial statements, balance sheets, and profit/loss reports
- Ensure compliance with GAAP and state tax regulations
- Utilize QuickBooks for daily transaction processing and record-keeping
- Conduct bank reconciliations and variance analysis
- Support month-end closing procedures and audits
Qualifications
- 3+ years of professional bookkeeping experience
- Proficiency in QuickBooks and Microsoft Excel
- Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial regulations
- Associate's degree in Accounting or Finance (or equivalent experience)
- Excellent analytical skills with high accuracy in data entry
- Ability to manage deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Certification (e.g., QuickBooks ProAdvisor) preferred
