Responsibilities
- Perform daily general ledger accounting activities and ensure accurate reconciliation of balance sheet accounts.
- Assist in the preparation and review of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in strict accordance with GAAP.
- Process payroll and ensure timely and accurate disbursement of funds to all employees.
- Conduct internal audits and assist external auditors during year-end reviews to ensure compliance.
- Reconcile bank statements and resolve any discrepancies or exceptions immediately.
- Prepare necessary journal entries and maintain fixed asset schedules.
- Support the month-end and year-end close process with minimal supervision.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- CPA, CMA, or equivalent certification is highly preferred.
- 3+ years of progressive accounting experience, preferably in a corporate environment.
- Mandatory requirement: Must be available and willing to work a night shift schedule.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software (SAP, Oracle, or NetSuite experience is a plus).
- Strong analytical skills with a keen eye for detail and accuracy.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
