Responsibilities
- Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts with meticulous attention to detail
- Process accounts payable/receivable and manage cash flow operations
- Prepare monthly financial statements and variance analysis reports
- Coordinate with auditors and ensure compliance with GAAP standards
- Manage payroll processing and tax filings for multiple clients
- Implement and optimize QuickBooks accounting systems
- Oversee bank reconciliations and resolve discrepancies promptly
Qualifications
- Associate's degree in Accounting or Finance (Bachelor's preferred)
- 3+ years of hands-on bookkeeping experience in a professional setting
- Expert proficiency in QuickBooks and Microsoft Excel (Advanced functions)
- Proven track record of month-end closing and financial reporting
- Strong knowledge of GAAP and IRS tax regulations
- Certified Bookkeeper (CB) or QuickBooks ProAdvisor designation a plus
- Exceptional organizational skills with ability to meet tight deadlines
