Responsibilities
- Process and distribute accurate invoices to clients within established deadlines
- Resolve billing discrepancies and account receivables through proactive communication
- Collaborate with sales and accounting teams to ensure contract alignment with billing practices
- Conduct monthly audits of billing systems to maintain data integrity
- Utilize ERP software (SAP/Oracle) to generate reports and optimize billing workflows
- Ensure compliance with HIPAA and financial regulations for sensitive data handling
- Train staff on billing procedures and system updates
Qualifications
- 3+ years of billing or accounts receivable experience
- Proficiency in medical billing (CPT/ICD-10 codes) or commercial invoicing systems
- Advanced Excel skills with VLOOKUP and pivot table expertise
- Strong analytical abilities to identify and resolve billing anomalies
- Certified Billing and Coding Specialist (CBCS) or equivalent preferred
- Exceptional communication skills for client negotiations
- Ability to manage high-volume transactions with 99.9% accuracy
