Responsibilities
- Prepare and analyze financial statements including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow reports
- Assist with month-end and year-end closing processes including journal entries and reconciliations
- Support audit preparation by gathering documentation and responding to inquiries
- Process accounts payable/receivable transactions and maintain accurate ledgers
- Utilize accounting software (QuickBooks, SAP) to record financial transactions
- Conduct variance analysis and prepare financial performance reports
- Ensure compliance with GAAP and IRS regulations
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- 0-2 years of accounting internship or relevant experience
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (advanced functions, pivot tables)
- Knowledge of GAAP principles and financial reporting standards
- Strong attention to detail with exceptional numerical accuracy
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment
