Responsibilities
- Manage end-to-end revenue cycle processes including charge entry, claims submission, and payment posting
- Resolve billing discrepancies and denials through insurance follow-up and patient account management
- Analyze aging reports and implement process improvements to reduce DSO
- Collaborate with clinical teams to ensure accurate documentation and coding compliance
- Generate monthly billing reports for executive leadership review
- Train staff on billing system updates and regulatory changes
Qualifications
- 3+ years of medical billing experience with CPT/ICD-10 coding expertise
- Proficiency in Epic, Meditech, or similar EHR billing modules
- Certified Professional Biller (CPB) or CPC certification preferred
- Advanced knowledge of Medicare/Medicaid/Commercial payer regulations
- Exceptional analytical skills with attention to numerical precision
