Responsibilities
- Invoice Processing: Accurately review, verify, and process a high volume of vendor invoices for payment within stipulated terms.
- Reconciliation: Perform daily reconciliation of accounts payable ledgers and resolve any billing discrepancies or errors.
- Vendor Management: Act as the primary point of contact for vendor inquiries regarding invoices, payments, and account status.
- Reporting: Assist in the preparation of month-end and year-end closing reports, including variance analysis.
- System Maintenance: Maintain and update vendor master data in the accounting system to ensure accuracy.
- Compliance: Ensure all payments adhere to internal controls, company policies, and applicable tax regulations.
Qualifications
- Experience: Minimum of 2-3 years of direct experience in Accounts Payable or General Accounting.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in accounting software (QuickBooks, NetSuite, or SAP) and advanced Excel skills (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables).
- Education: Associate’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration required; Bachelor’s degree preferred.
- Availability: Must be available to work rotating night shifts (6:00 PM – 3:00 AM) on a consistent basis.
- Attention to Detail: Exceptional ability to spot errors, maintain data integrity, and manage high volumes of data.
- Communication: Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to negotiate and resolve conflicts.
