Responsibilities
- Process and verify invoices for accuracy, coding, and approval within the established night shift timeline.
- Reconcile vendor statements and resolve discrepancies in a timely manner.
- Manage and maintain the AP subsidiary ledger, ensuring all transactions are recorded correctly.
- Communicate with vendors regarding payment status and outstanding invoices.
- Assist with month-end and year-end closing procedures and account reconciliation.
- Utilize accounting software (QuickBooks, NetSuite, or Sage) to enter and track financial data.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in Accounts Payable or a related finance role.
- Must be available to work the Night Shift (e.g., 3:00 PM - 12:00 AM or 4:00 PM - 1:00 AM).
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel is essential).
- Experience with accounting software (QuickBooks, SAP, Oracle, etc.) is highly preferred.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills with the ability to meet deadlines.
- High school diploma or GED required; Associate degree in Accounting or Finance is a plus.
