Responsibilities
- Perform high-volume financial reconciliation and month-end closing procedures specifically for weekend reporting cycles.
- Manage and audit general ledger accounts, ensuring accuracy and proper documentation.
- Prepare and analyze financial reports, variance analyses, and cash flow statements.
- Process accounts payable and receivable transactions, including vendor reconciliations and customer billing.
- Assist in the preparation of quarterly and annual tax filings and regulatory compliance audits.
- Maintain and update accounting systems and spreadsheets to ensure data integrity.
- Collaborate with the finance team to implement process improvements and cost-saving initiatives.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field required.
- Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or CPA Candidate status is a strong plus.
- Minimum of 2-3 years of progressive experience in general accounting or auditing.
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Sage, NetSuite) and MS Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables).
- Strong understanding of GAAP, internal controls, and financial reporting standards.
- Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data.
- Must be available to work weekends (Saturday and Sunday) with weekday availability for meetings.
