Responsibilities
- Manage and reconcile financial records using QuickBooks and advanced Excel functions
- Prepare monthly financial statements and variance analysis reports
- Coordinate payroll processing and tax compliance for multi-state operations
- Assist in budget preparation and expense tracking initiatives
- Conduct internal audits and ensure SOX compliance adherence
- Collaborate with cross-department teams on financial forecasting
- Support month-end and year-end closing processes
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA preferred)
- 3+ years of hands-on accounting experience in public or corporate setting
- Advanced proficiency in QuickBooks, Excel, and accounting software
- Strong knowledge of GAAP principles and tax regulations
- Excellent analytical skills with attention to detail
- Effective communication abilities for stakeholder reporting
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
