Responsibilities
- Record Financial Data: Accurately record daily transactions, including accounts payable and receivable, into our accounting software.
- Perform Reconciliations: Assist in reconciling bank statements and credit card accounts to ensure data integrity.
- Prepare Basic Reports: Help compile and prepare routine financial reports and ledgers for management review.
- Support Payroll: Aid in the collection and verification of payroll data to ensure employees are paid accurately.
- Maintain Records: Organize and maintain accurate physical and electronic financial records.
- Assist with Audits: Provide support during internal and external audits by gathering necessary documentation.
Qualifications
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate’s degree in Accounting or Finance is a plus.
- Experience: No prior accounting experience required – comprehensive on-the-job training will be provided.
- Skills: Basic proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, specifically Excel.
- Attention to Detail: Must be meticulous when handling numbers and financial documents.
- Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills to interact with team members and clients.
