Responsibilities
- Manage daily bookkeeping tasks, including accounts payable and accounts receivable reconciliation.
- Prepare and analyze monthly financial statements and variance reports.
- Process payroll and ensure all time sheets and deductions are accurate for the night shift workforce.
- Assist in the preparation of annual tax returns and audit schedules.
- Monitor cash flow and manage bank reconciliations.
- Ensure compliance with GAAP and company financial policies.
- Maintain and update the general ledger with precision.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field required.
- 3+ years of experience in accounting or bookkeeping, preferably in a corporate environment.
- Proficiency with accounting software (QuickBooks, Xero, or Sage) and Microsoft Excel.
- Strong understanding of GAAP, tax regulations, and financial reporting.
- Must be available to work rotating night shifts (e.g., 5 PM - 2 AM or 6 PM - 3 AM).
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
