Responsibilities
- Manage full-cycle accounting processes including accounts payable/receivable, payroll, and general ledger maintenance
- Prepare monthly financial statements and variance analysis for executive leadership
- Ensure compliance with GAAP and IRS regulations while maintaining accurate tax documentation
- Oversee month-end and year-end closing procedures with strict attention to deadlines
- Develop and implement financial controls to optimize operational efficiency
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on budget forecasting and financial planning
- Lead audit preparation and documentation processes for external reviews
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA preferred)
- 5+ years of progressive accounting experience in public or corporate finance
- Expert proficiency in QuickBooks, Microsoft Excel, and ERP systems
- Demonstrated success with financial reporting, tax compliance, and audit support
- Strong analytical skills with ability to interpret complex financial data
