Responsibilities
- Manage full-cycle accounting operations including GL maintenance, journal entries, and month-end closings
- Prepare and analyze financial statements with emphasis on variance reporting
- Oversee accounts payable/receivable processes and cash flow management
- Conduct internal audits and ensure SOX compliance
- Collaborate with leadership on budget forecasting and financial modeling
- Implement process improvements using ERP systems (SAP/Oracle)
- Manage tax compliance filings and audits
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting/Finance (CPA/MBA preferred)
- 5+ years progressive accounting experience in public/private sectors
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software (QuickBooks, SAP)
- Deep knowledge of GAAP and financial reporting standards
- Proven experience with month-end/quarter-end closing processes
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail
- Excellent communication abilities for stakeholder reporting
