Responsibilities
- Manage full-cycle accounting operations including accounts payable/receivable, payroll processing, and general ledger maintenance
- Prepare and analyze monthly financial statements with variance reporting for leadership review
- Ensure compliance with GAAP, tax regulations, and internal financial controls
- Lead month-end and year-end closing processes with accurate journal entries and reconciliations
- Develop and implement process improvements to enhance financial reporting efficiency
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis
- Support external audits and maintain organized financial documentation
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA/MBA preferred)
- 5+ years of progressive accounting experience in public accounting or corporate finance
- Advanced proficiency in QuickBooks, Excel, and accounting software (e.g., Sage Intacct)
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail and accuracy
- Experience with multi-state tax compliance and payroll processing
- Proven ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent communication skills for stakeholder collaboration
