Responsibilities
- Manage and maintain the general ledger, ensuring accuracy and timely posting of financial transactions.
- Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with GAAP.
- Reconcile bank accounts and credit card statements monthly.
- Assist with the preparation of tax returns and ensure compliance with federal, state, and local tax regulations.
- Perform internal audits and financial reporting to management.
- Process accounts payable and receivable, ensuring all invoices are processed accurately and on time.
- Collaborate with the finance team to assist in budget preparation and variance analysis.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field required.
- CPA certification is a strong plus.
- 2+ years of professional accounting experience.
- Proficiency with QuickBooks and Microsoft Excel (advanced functions required).
- Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting standards.
- Excellent analytical skills with a keen eye for detail.
- Ability to work independently and meet strict deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
