Responsibilities
- Manage daily financial transactions, including accounts payable and receivable, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
- Prepare and examine monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in compliance with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).
- Assist in the preparation of tax returns and ensure all regulatory filings are completed accurately and on schedule.
- Reconcile bank statements and general ledger accounts to identify discrepancies and resolve them promptly.
- Collaborate with the management team to develop and monitor the annual budget, providing insights into financial trends.
- Conduct internal audits to verify the integrity of financial data and operational procedures.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (CPA certification is a plus).
- Minimum of 2-4 years of progressive experience in accounting or financial analysis.
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Sage) and advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
- Strong understanding of federal and state tax regulations and reporting requirements.
- Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data.
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational and time management abilities.
