Responsibilities
- Manage day-to-day accounting operations, including accounts payable and accounts receivable.
- Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with GAAP.
- Assist with the preparation of federal and state tax returns and ensure timely filing.
- Reconcile bank statements, credit card accounts, and general ledger accounts.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records and documentation.
- Assist in the budgeting process and provide variance analysis to management.
- Process payroll entries and ensure accuracy in time tracking.
Qualifications
- Associateās or Bachelorās degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in general accounting or bookkeeping.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables).
- Experience with accounting software such as QuickBooks or Sage.
- Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting standards.
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
