Key Responsibilities:
- Manage daily, monthly, and annual general ledger accounting activities to ensure accuracy and compliance with GAAP.
- Prepare and analyze complex financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow reports.
- Oversee accounts payable and accounts receivable processes, ensuring timely payments and accurate invoicing.
- Assist in the preparation of tax returns and ensure all tax filings are completed accurately and by deadlines.
- Conduct internal audits and reconciliation of bank statements and credit card transactions.
- Collaborate with the finance team to optimize budgeting processes and financial forecasting.
- Maintain organized financial records and ensure compliance with all local, state, and federal regulations.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (CPA certification is a major plus).
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in full-cycle accounting or a related financial role.
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Xero, SAP) and advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, vlookups).
- Strong understanding of financial reporting standards and regulatory compliance.
- Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data.
- Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to present financial information clearly.
