Responsibilities
- Manage and maintain the general ledger, ensuring accurate and timely financial recording.
- Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with GAAP.
- Perform bank reconciliations and credit card reconciliations on a monthly basis.
- Assist in the preparation of budgets, forecasts, and variance analysis.
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local tax regulations and company policies.
- Process accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions efficiently.
- Support external audits and internal control reviews.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- CPA, CMA, or EA certification preferred (or currently pursuing).
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in general accounting or financial reporting.
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Sage, Xero) and MS Excel (Advanced functions).
- Strong understanding of GAAP and financial analysis principles.
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Effective communication skills with the ability to interact with cross-functional teams.
