As an Accountant, you will play a critical role in maintaining our financial health, ensuring compliance, and providing strategic insights to leadership.
Responsibilities
- Manage daily accounting operations, including accounts payable and accounts receivable.
- Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
- Assist in the preparation of tax returns and ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations.
- Perform reconciliations of bank statements and general ledger accounts.
- Support the audit process by providing necessary documentation and records.
- Assist in budget preparation and variance analysis.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
- Proven experience (2+ years) as an Accountant or in a similar financial role.
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Sage) and Microsoft Excel.
- Strong understanding of GAAP and financial reporting standards.
- Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or CMA certification is a plus.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
