Responsibilities
- Manage and reconcile daily financial transactions, including accounts payable and accounts receivable.
- Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements with high precision.
- Ensure strict compliance with federal, state, and local financial regulations and tax laws.
- Perform bank reconciliations and credit card statement reviews to identify and resolve discrepancies.
- Assist in the preparation of annual tax returns and supporting documentation for audits.
- Collaborate with the finance team to improve internal controls and accounting processes.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is required.
- CPA certification is a strong plus but not mandatory for this immediate opening.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in general ledger accounting or financial reporting.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (advanced functions like VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables) and QuickBooks or Sage.
- Strong analytical skills with a keen eye for detail and accuracy.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced team environment.
