Job Summary
The Accountant will be responsible for managing financial records, ensuring compliance, and providing strategic financial insights to support our business growth.
Responsibilities
- Manage daily accounting operations, including accounts payable and accounts receivable.
- Prepare and maintain accurate financial statements, including balance sheets and income statements.
- Assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual tax filings.
- Reconcile bank statements and general ledger accounts to ensure accuracy.
- Conduct internal audits and financial analysis to support decision-making.
- Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- 3+ years of professional accounting experience.
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Sage, or Xero).
- Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel and financial reporting tools.
- Strong understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).
- Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or CMA certification is a plus.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
