Responsibilities
- Manage daily accounting operations, including accounts payable and accounts receivable.
- Prepare and analyze financial statements in accordance with GAAP standards.
- Assist with month-end and year-end close processes, including journal entries and reconciliations.
- Prepare and file federal, state, and local tax returns and reports.
- Conduct internal audits and implement internal controls to safeguard assets.
- Collaborate with the finance team to budget, forecast, and monitor financial performance.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field required.
- 3-5 years of progressive accounting experience (Direct Hire).
- Certified Public Accountant (CPA) designation preferred.
- Proficiency in accounting software (QuickBooks, Sage, or NetSuite) and MS Excel.
- Strong understanding of GAAP and tax regulations.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
