Responsibilities
- Manage daily bookkeeping tasks and maintain accurate financial records.
- Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and reports.
- Process accounts payable and accounts receivable with a focus on accuracy and timeliness.
- Reconcile bank statements and credit card accounts to ensure data integrity.
- Assist with financial audits and compliance with federal, state, and local regulations.
- Utilize accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Xero, Sage) to track financial transactions.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (or equivalent professional experience).
- Proven experience in general ledger accounting, financial reporting, and reconciliation.
- Proficiency in accounting software and advanced MS Excel skills (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables).
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to identify discrepancies quickly.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Certified Public Accountant (CPA) license is a plus but not required.
