Responsibilities
- Manage day-to-day accounting operations, including accounts payable and accounts receivable.
- Prepare and maintain accurate financial records, ledgers, and reports in compliance with GAAP standards.
- Assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and tax filings.
- Perform bank reconciliations and ensure the integrity of financial data.
- Process payroll and ensure timely and accurate disbursements.
- Conduct internal audits to ensure compliance with company policies and regulations.
- Collaborate with the finance team to optimize budgeting and forecasting processes.
Qualifications
- Associate degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (Bachelor's degree preferred).
- Minimum of 2-3 years of professional accounting experience.
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Sage) and Microsoft Excel.
- Strong understanding of financial reporting and reconciliation procedures.
- Excellent attention to detail and analytical problem-solving skills.
- Ability to meet deadlines and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
