Job Overview:
We are seeking a reliable and skilled Accountant to manage our financial operations during the weekend. You will play a crucial role in ensuring our books are accurate, compliant, and ready for the upcoming week.
Responsibilities
- Perform daily bookkeeping tasks, including journal entries and reconciling bank statements.
- Prepare weekly financial reports, balance sheets, and income statements.
- Process payroll for weekend staff and manage expense reports.
- Assist with month-end closing procedures and quarterly tax filings.
- Maintain accurate financial records and ensure compliance with local regulations.
- Review and audit invoices and purchase orders for accuracy.
Qualifications
- Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Minimum of 2 years of accounting experience (Weekend experience preferred).
- Proficiency in QuickBooks, Xero, or Sage accounting software.
- Advanced Excel skills (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables) required.
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to work independently.
- Must be available to work weekends (Saturday and Sunday).
