Responsibilities
- Prepare and file federal, state, and local tax returns for diverse client portfolios
- Conduct tax research and provide strategic guidance on complex tax regulations
- Manage audit support and documentation for IRS/state inquiries
- Develop tax planning strategies to optimize client financial outcomes
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on tax compliance initiatives
- Maintain accurate tax databases and ensure regulatory adherence
- Present tax analysis reports to senior management and clients
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA/Master's preferred)
- 3+ years of tax preparation experience in public accounting
- Proficiency in tax software (e.g., ProSystem, Lacerte, UltraTax)
- Strong knowledge of IRS regulations, GAAP, and FASB standards
- Excellent analytical skills with attention to detail
- Active CPA license or pursuing certification
