Responsibilities
- Manage full-cycle accounting operations including month-end close and financial reporting
- Lead budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis for executive stakeholders
- Ensure compliance with GAAP, SOX, and regulatory requirements
- Oversee accounts payable/receivable and general ledger maintenance
- Collaborate with auditors during annual reviews and tax preparations
- Develop financial models and KPI dashboards for operational insights
- Mentor junior accounting staff and process improvements
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting/Finance; CPA preferred
- 5+ years of progressive accounting experience in tech or startups
- Expert proficiency in QuickBooks, Excel, and ERP systems
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail
- Experience with multi-state taxation and international transactions
- Proven ability to meet tight deadlines in high-pressure environments
- Excellent communication skills for cross-functional collaboration
