- Manage full-cycle accounting operations including accounts payable/receivable, payroll processing, and bank reconciliations
- Prepare monthly financial statements and variance analysis for executive leadership
- Ensure compliance with GAAP and IRS regulations while maintaining accurate financial records
- Conduct internal audits and implement process improvements for operational efficiency
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support budgeting and forecasting initiatives
- Oversee tax preparation and filing for corporate entities across multiple states
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field required (CPA/MBA preferred)
- Minimum 5 years of progressive accounting experience with remote work exposure
- Advanced proficiency in QuickBooks, Excel, and accounting software (Sage 100 a plus)
- Strong understanding of GAAP principles and multi-state tax compliance
- Exceptional attention to detail with proven ability to meet tight deadlines
- Excellent communication skills for remote stakeholder collaboration
