As our Bookkeeper, you will be the backbone of our financial operations, ensuring our clients' books are balanced and their financial health is optimized.
Responsibilities
- Manage day-to-day financial operations, including accurate processing of accounts payable and accounts receivable.
- Perform monthly bank reconciliations and prepare comprehensive financial statements.
- Maintain and update the general ledger using industry-standard accounting software.
- Assist with payroll processing, tax preparation, and year-end audits.
- Reconcile credit card statements and review expense reports for accuracy.
- Communicate effectively with clients and internal teams regarding financial inquiries.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 2-3 years of professional bookkeeping or accounting experience.
- Proficiency with QuickBooks Pro/Online, Xero, or similar accounting software.
- Strong understanding of GAAP and basic accounting principles.
- Advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, VLOOKUP) are highly preferred.
- Excellent attention to detail with the ability to meet tight deadlines.
- Must be legally authorized to work in the United States.
