Responsibilities
- Manage general ledger accounts and reconcile monthly bank statements
- Process accounts payable/receivable and maintain vendor records
- Prepare financial reports including P&L statements and balance sheets
- Ensure compliance with GAAP and tax regulations
- Utilize QuickBooks for efficient transaction processing
- Support audits and financial analysis projects
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on financial initiatives
Qualifications
- Associate's degree in Accounting/Finance (Bachelor's preferred)
- 3+ years bookkeeping experience with night shift availability
- Advanced proficiency in QuickBooks and MS Excel
- Strong knowledge of GAAP and financial reporting standards
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Detail-oriented with exceptional organizational skills
- Valid Maryland accounting certification (CPA/CMA) a plus
